Enjoy the unique experience
of swimming in the crystal clear waters of a rainforest pool.
The first swim of the tour will be at Crystal Cascades where
it is likely that you will be joined only by turtles and fish
and maybe a sea eagle looking for a meal of fish. The Crystal
Cascades were created by Fresh Water Creek on its rush from
the mountains to the sea. Experience this perfect natural swimming
pool in its tranquil rainforest setting.
The tour rounds of a memorable day at one of Cairns beautiful
beaches where you may see dolphins, turtles, sea snakes and
even the occasional crocodile.

Experience the World
Heritage Rainforest "up close and personal" - not
just through a bus window. Stuart, your guide, will introduce
you to the natural wonders of this unique rainforest ecosystem,
the oldest on the planet, which has remained unchanged for more
than 120 million years. You will be able to get up close (but
not too close!!) to dangerous and sometimes deadly, Stinging
Tree and the Wait-A-While vine which can rapidly snare the unwary
walker in its thorny embrace. He will show you some of the bush
Tucker plants that sustained the locally indigenous people for
over 40,000 years. Try to find a Beach Almond and discover for
yourself its surprising sexy secret.

Discover the unique
wildlife of the wet tropics. You may also discover, from time
to time, why they are called "wet" tropics!!! Stuart
is a skilled and experienced bushman, and has all the skills
necessary to get you close to an abundant variety of wildlife
which lives on Cairn's doorstep. On our tours, you can expect
to see wild animals in their natural environment - goanna lizards,
pythons, turtles, giant tropical butterflies, flying foxes,
eagles, wallabies, dolphins, snakes, as well as native insects
and bush food. Even, from time to time, the rare cassowary.

Our tours are dedicated
to sharing the natural wonders of the Cairns rain forest with
our guests in smaller more personalised groups. You will spend
more time out of the bus than in it. Your tour guide, Stuart,
is a genuine bushman who has lived and worked in the bush as
a forester, a professional hunter and a conservationist and
has a real passion for the plants and animals of the rain forest
in all their variety. Who better to show you around the bush
than one who has lived there? Be sure to bring your camera for
a memorable and 'off the beaten track' tour of Cairns' rain
forest. We are proud of the reputation we have that this is
the best value tour in Cairns.
